We Didn’t Back off, Neither Did We Step Down For Anyone, But For The Supremacy Of The Party- OJA

Some months ago, we started consultation with party leaders, Ward Executives and several individuals in the political arcade of Ado Constituency 1, to establish the intention of Olufemi Joshua Aduloju (OJA1) to contest for a seat at the Ekiti State House of Assembly and solicit their support.

Our consultation was advantageous, because of the popularity and widespread acceptability of our principal in Ado-Ekiti and due to the fact that OJA1 is a grassroot mobiliser, who has consistently been identifying with leaders and members of the progressive fold.

Fast-forward to Saturday, 7th of May, a signal was sent during a meeting of all contestants, which was convened by the leaders of the party, where aspirants were informed that the party already has a consensus arrangement and implored all to rally round unanimous consensus candidates in the party’s interest.

As an ardent party person, what can OJA1 do against the wishes of the party authority? Just as he did in 2019, Mr. Aduloju complied with the unanimous arrangements of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

John 3:27 says, “A man can receive nothing except it has been given to him from heaven”. Mr. Aduloju consistently reiterates that he doesn’t have any inordinate ambition, and he is never desperate for anything.

Mr. Aduloju and his team again have visited the leaders in his constituency to appreciate them for their unwavering support, and he has stated that he will support anyone designated by the leaders to represent Ado Constituency 1 in the Ekiti State House of Assembly in the 2023 elections.

He further seized the opportunity to beseech party heads to give him consideration for his subsequent political endeavours.

On this note, OJA1 Media Team profoundly appreciates everyone, who contributed in one way or another for the actualisation of our principal’s ambition, and we promise to continue to mobilise towards the triumph of the APC and its candidate in the June 18 Governorship Election in the state.
