What’s The Cry All About?

By Adeoye Aribasoye

Fayemi from the start of his 2nd term of office knew that he will officially leave office on the 15th day of October, 2022. He is quiet aware that constitutionally, he can no longer seek reelection nor extend his tenure. He however worked assiduously and to the glory of God, his successor emerged among his core men and from his party thereby putting him forward as the first Governor with such privilege.

He, as the first Governor to successfully complete first and 2nd term of office in Ekiti, is without any scintilla of doubt a FULFILLED MAN.

This is a man that rose to become the first Governor from the South West state of Nigeria to lead the prestigious Nigerian Governor’s forum. His colleagues at the forum referred and regards him for his leadership style. The same Fayemi was elected as the first Nigerian Governor to lead the forum of Governors in the Region of Africa.

If Fayemi at 57 had attained a global recognition and achieved all he had been able even to the admiration of men of substance and could be noticed by the naysayers, I wonder then the cries and hullabaloo by some of our friends who should pray to God for grace to be so recognized, respected and be relevant.

As far as Ekiti is concerned, JKF has performed and has his job done, posterity is there to judge him either right or wrong. Unfortunately, the names of those who laid accusations against Jesus are only on the footnote of history. Where would your own name be written?
