By Francis Adewumi

Hundreds of Nigerians demonstrated against the soaring cost of living in the south of the country recently after huge protests in the north earlier this month.

The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation (ODF) Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has said Nigeria is suffering an economic crisis and soaring prices have left many people struggling to afford food.

He condemned the economic hardship, falling of naira, and insecurity bedeviling the development of the country, and charged the Federal government to find lasting solutions to Nigerians problem.

Falegan made the call in a communique issued on Monday through one of his media aides, Adewumi Francis.

The Founder condemns economic hardship, naira devaluation and insecurity in the country.

“The communique reviewed the State of the Nation and noted the hardship being faced by Nigerians as a result of the economic and security challenges facing the nation.

Falegan consequently urges the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency embark on initiatives involving all the sub national governments to bring a lasting solution to the crises.

He said he will continue to play his part in the effort to bring succour to his people.
