The politics of bitterness introduced into politics and Governance by former Governor Ayo Fayose has continued to germinate such that all the Projects embarked upon by Governor Fayemi and Engr. Segun Oni were abandoned with impunity by Fayose.
These projects which were constructed with Ekiti money for the benefits of Ekiti people suffered dereliction by Fayose government and People Democratic Party, ((PDP) government until the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Fayemi came on board, and revisited the abandoned projects to completion.
Examples of such projects were : Ikun diary farm, Ado – Iworoko – Ifaki road dualisation started by Oni, which Governor Fayemi has started working on and is nearing completion now, and Oba Adejugbe General Hospital at Agric Olope, off Ajilosun in Ado-Ekiti. House of Assembly Complex, and Ministries Buidings at the State secretariat which were initiated by Oni and abandoned by Fayose but completed by Fayemi and APC government.
This is therefore, a clear indication that only the APC Government led by Fayemi believed and put to into action the saying that government is a continuum. This was further confirmed by the Ekiti Transition Law (2019) passed by the Ekiti State House of Assembly and signed into law by Governor Fayemi. The law forbids any new Governor from abandoning the projects of his predecessor.
Suffice to say that, it is a wise decision for people to vote enmass for this APC government that has not only come to restore values and virtues of Ekiti but also has laid the foundations for greater Ekiti with its good politics that has human face. His putting people first will attract development into the state.
Voting enmass for APC candidate. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, BAO, and Monisade Christiana Afuye, MCA will allow continuity of greater Ekiti.
