People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2, Lere Olayinka, has distributed free petrol to okada riders in Aramoko Ekiti, in Ekiti West Local Government.
Olayinka in a chat with heritagenewsng.com. said he did this to cushion the effects of the present Petrol Scarcity in the state.
The PDP House of Representatives candidate whose campaign train reportedly stopped by at Okanlawon Petrol Station, Aramoko Ekiti to give FREE Petrol to over 200 Okada Riders on Tuesday, explained that it was an impromptu things adding that he never prepare for it.
According to him, ” I was moved with pity as I was going for my campaign and felt I could do something to ameliorate their Suffering in my own little at that point in time, so that was why I stopped at that petrol station to pay for their fuel where over 200 okada riders benefited” . Olayinka added.
Ojo Akosile, A.k.a Agba man who responded on behalf of the benefitiaries commended Olayinka for the gesture, and vowed to make his colleagues okada riders who benefited and their family to vote for him on election day.
Agba man who also promised to work with his colleagues to ensure his victory at the poll, prayed that God will grant him success.
