The leading Senatorial aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC for Ondo South Senatorial District, Mathew Oye Oyerinmade, widely known as MATO, has advised chirstains all over the world to take heaps of inspiration from Jesus Christ and become pure at heart as they celebrate the Palm Sunday in commemoration of Christ fearlessly entered the city of Jerusalem on a donkey.
Oyerinmade, in his goodwill message to the chirstains in Ondo State, particularly in the Southern Senatorial District on Sunday, described Palm Sunday as one fine occasion to take heaps of inspiration from Christ and become a pure soul like Him.
“Jesus sacrificed a lot for the sake of humanity not to become the champion of humans or to acquire thrones.
“This is a season of pure love and to celebrate the triumph of Jesus over all evils and vices. Let’s celebrate the soulful season of love and togetherness.
“Let me use this medium to wish all our clergymen, evangelists, church workers, fath based organisations, christain brothers and sisters, party leaders, elders, our esteemed and loyal supporters in Ilaje, Irele, Ese-Odo, Okitipupa, Odigbo and Ileoluji/Okeigbo Council areas, a Happy Palm Sunday and have a magnificent holy week.
“May the arrival of the Holy Week and Palm Sunday bring oodles of love, good luck, and holiness in all our lives and living conditions.
“May our hearts be filled with the grace of the Almighty Lord and keep our family members safe, sound, love, warmth, and humility our hearts and makes us better person than ever.
“As I put myself forward as your representative in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections: I always trust the Lord’s plans as He only chooses the best of things, including leadership, for us as human. He will surely choose and give us the best set of leaders in 2023.
