Heritagenewsng has been updated with the latest developments regarding the detention of Chief Sunday Adeyemo , aka Sunday Igboho in Cotonou following a pin down order from Aso rock, Abuja, Nigeria .
Just as an aide to Self-acclaimed Yoruba activist, Mr Dapo Salami has equally refuted the report that his boss(Sunday Igboho) has been released from where he was being held.
Mr Dapo Salami, who confirmed to journalists on telephone described the viral report of Sunday Igboho’s release as false and misleading.
“He is still being detained. Disregard any information that says Chief Igboho has been released.
“But I believe notable Yoruba leaders should have been working on ways to secure his release without any delay,” he said.
However, heritagenewsng has been reliably informed that Igboho is still currently being held in Cotonu following an alleged order from the Presidency in Nigeria pending the processes for his extradition.
