The chairman of ifedara local council development area , chief Shina Ogunleye has boosted the activities of security operatives in the area with a donation of some motorcycles and cash.
Performing the ceremony at the LCDA headquarters at Igbemo ekiti chief ogunleye said the gesture was to encourage the security operatives to do more in protecting lives and property in the area.
The local government boss who commended the various security operatives in the council for their professionalism added that they have used their training to keep criminals away from the community.
Chief Ogunleye called on members of the LCDA to continue to cooperate with the security agents to ensure a crime free society.
The chairman assured the people that his administration would leave no stone unturned in boosting both the social and
economic lives of the people through infrastructural development of every towns in the LCDA.
The council boss also reminded the people of the need for them to pay their taxes and rates regularly to enable the government perform it’s responsibility.
Responding on behalf of the security agencies that benefited from the largesse , the district police office, iworoko, SP Bankole Falomo, commended chief oguleye for taking the issue security seriously and assured the people that the security operatives would be relentless in performing their duty .
The security agencies Ugh that benefited from the donation include The Nigeria police force, Civil Defence corp ,SSS, AMOTEKUN and local hunters. Present at the ceremony were traditional rulers politicians and the staff of the LCDA.
