IBB’s Remark On How Obi, Atiku And Tinubu Won The Election-Reuben Basorun

Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, won the ethnicity vote, Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, won the religious vote, but Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the popular vote, according to Chief Reuben Basorun, a member of the governance advisory council in the Lagos state All Progressive Congress. Ibrahim Babangida was the former head of state of Nigeria.

When asked what the goals of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government should be, the APC leader reiterated what IBB had stated in an interview with Samuel Bolaji of the PUNCH media about Tinubu’s presidency and what Nigerians can anticipate.

President Tinubu had a 10-point plan in his campaign platform, but out of the 10, the economy and security are the most crucial, according to Chief Reuben Basorun.

Everything else, according to him, will fall into place once the problem of insecurity and the multifaceted economy are resolved. He expressed his confidence in Tinubu, saying he may take actions that the previous government was reluctant to.

“The kind of election Tinubu won has shown that he is willing to carry the issues of this nation. Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Tinubu, according to General Ibrahim Babangida, won votes for ethnicity, religion, and Nigerians, respectively. All around Nigeria, people voted for him.
