I Can’t Withdraw My Case In The Palace, I Will Consult My Lawyer- Aribisogan

The embattled Speaker of the Ekiti state House of Assembly Rt Hon Gboyega Aribisogan has said ” I can’t withdraw the suit challenging my illegal and unconstitutional removal by the seven Honourable members of the Ekiti state House of Assembly and Hon. Olubunmi Adelugba, the illegal occupant at the Ekiti state. House of Assembly”.
Speaking to journalists at the palace of Ewi Ado, Ekiti after a truce meeting between him and other members of the state House of Assembly, Aribisogan said that he cannot withdraw his suit because it is a constitutional matter and that it is only the court that can adjudicate on it
” Kabiesi, I know the implication of impeachment.
“I can not wait and allow some of my colleagues to hang this impeachment on my neck. No one in this palace can remove the toga of impeachment. ,
“I’m already in court to challenge the purported impeachment. I can’t withdraw here in the palace. I will consult with my lawyers and get back to you ” Aribisogan said.
He however thanked the traditional rulers for their intervention on the matter, and prayed that there will be peace in Ekiti State.
