Judy, a 25 year old mother of two in Kigumo, Murang’a county has confessed that a fake pastor ruined her marriage.
In an interview with journalist Monica Kagoni, Judy revealed that at age of 16, she dropped out of school due to financial constraints and got married to a man who truly cared.
They were christians: praying, attending church, tithing and even going for ‘Kesha.’ Whenever her husband was not available for kesha, he would send her to go and intercede for the family. It is such a time, that a promiscuous pastor spotted her.
He took advantage of the fact that she was young and innocent, approached her with the lies that ‘she was possessed with a demon that needed to be casted out.
He said he would use anointing oil and apply it on her body. He forced himself on her in the process.
Judy could no longer handle the guilt. She opened up to her husband about what the pastor had done to her. He got angry, beat her and threw her out.
Out of frustrations, Judy got married to another man who accepted her with her son from the previous marriage. However, after some time, the man got violent. She quit the marriage and went back home to her mother.
Judy looks back with bitterness at ‘an apostle’ who ruined her marriage. She struggles raising her kids alone and survives on casual jobs. She hopes one day, she’ll get money to start up her own business.
