….Endorse Governor for 2nd term
The All Progressives Congress(APC) party members from Ado ward 11 were full of excitement this evening as political appointees from the ward gave out cash running to half a million naira to some selected party members in commemoration of the second year anniversary of Ekiti state Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji.
The political appointees through their Coordinator, Chief Adeniyi Adedipe described the kind gesture to the party members as one of their ways of appreciating them for their unwavering support for the party and the present administration under the able leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his wife who is a worthy daughter of the ward, Her Excellency, Prof. Olayemi Oyebanji.
The appointees through their spokesperson stated further that the cash empowerment was also in support of the efforts of the governor in prioritizing the welfare of party members and promotion of Shared prosperity. They solicited more support for Governor Oyebanji and his administration.
The peak of the event was the endorsement of Governor Oyebanji by the political appointees for 2nd term, reaffirming their loyalty and support his administration.
Earlier, the ward Chairman, Mr Adegoke Oba appreciated the political appointees for deeming it fit to give back to their people, describing it as a good step in the right direction which go a long way in boosting the morale of party members to do more towards the progress of the party.
He called on the members of ward 11 to keep praying for the success of Governor Oyebanji and his wife in office.The appointees are;
