…As Prof. Adubiaro Distributes Cash to Party Members
With the 2026 Ekiti governorship election approaching, former Deputy Governor Prof. Modupe Adelabu and the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, have declared their support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election bid.
The two prominent APC leaders rallied support for the governor’s second term during their visit to Ado APC Ward 4 on Thursday.
Addressing party members, Prof. Adubiaro praised Governor Oyebanji and his wife, Prof. Olayemi Oyebanji, for their outstanding performance in office. She highlighted numerous developmental projects and impactful programs executed across the state, particularly in Ado-Ekiti, the capital.
She emphasized that Ekiti people are fortunate to have a visionary leader and a supportive First Lady, who have prioritized the welfare of both citizens and party members. She urged political appointees to complement the governor’s efforts by giving back to their communities, noting that this commitment has driven her to support party members across various wards in recent months.
“Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his wife are performing excellently well. If we start listing their achievements, we won’t leave here today,” she said.
“The people of Ekiti have never had it this good. With the governor and his wife making such a positive impact, it is only right for those appointed by him to also support their people. That is why I have been reaching out to our party members from ward to ward since last year.”
Similarly, former Deputy Governor Prof. Modupe Adelabu commended Governor Oyebanji for delivering on his promise of good governance, stating that he deserves another term in office.
She also applauded the SSG for complementing the governor and First Lady’s efforts by supporting party members across Ado-Ekiti’s wards, encouraging her to do even more.
