The one year anniversary of Obirin Kete Multipurpose Association was celebrated in Ado-Ekiti this afternoon at Fajuyi mini pavilion in attendance of APC women stakeholders and party members across all the 13 wards in Ado-Ekiti LG.
In her welcome address, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Hon(Mrs) Olatokunbo Gbadamosi commended the wife of Ekiti state Governor, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for coming up with such a good initiative for the betterment of Ekiti
women.
She added that the Obinrin Kete Multipurpose scheme has financially helped Ekiti women who are into small scale business.
Speaking in the same vain, Mrs Toyin Adepoju gave kudos to Erelu Bisi Fayemi for prioritising women welfare in Ekiti state.
She stated further that Obirin kete is not about given loan to women who are small scale business owners but as a platform to
champion their cause and achieve their good aims and objectives.
On those who have been loaned some certain amount through the Obirin kete multipurpose scheme but are yet to pay back, she urged them to do the needful because an huge amount of money is going to be loaned out very soon under the Obinrin Kete scheme.
Mrs Toyin added that this opportunity will only be enjoyed by only active members of the Obinrin Kete multipurpose scheme.
Also speaking at the event, Hon(Mrs) Remi Ajayi made it clear to Ado women who were present that, the atmosphere has been alive politically in Ekiti state now.
She furthered that all lovers of Erelu must be willing to toe her path.
Immediately she uttered these words, shout of BAO! BAO! rented the air, signifying their support for the governorship ambition of Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
Other APC women stakeholders who spoke at the event include, Hon(Mrs) Funke Owolabi, Hon(Mrs) Kehinde Olanipekun, Hon(Mrs) Jumoke Olaniyan and Mrs Margaret Adelusi, Ado APC women leader.
They all extolled the good virtues of Her Excellency, Ereluh Bisi Fayemi and prayed for her continual success.
