The Executive Chairman of Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Femi Akinwumi has congratulated the Ekiti Sttate Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on the Award of Excellence as the
Governor of the Year on Community Development bestowed on him by the Daily Independent newspaper.
Prof. Akinwumi described the award as “timely and well deserved considering Governor Oyebanji’s genuine commitment towards the overall development of Ekiti State”.
Prof. Akinwumi expressed happiness on the award, noting that the giant strides of the Governor are being applauded beyond Ekiti State.
While appreciating the Management of the Daily Independent newspaper for finding the Governor worthy of the award, The SUBEB boss implored the hardworking Governor to remain focused in his efforts to leave Ekiti State better than he met it, through his transformative agenda.
He assured the Governor of the Board’s unalloyed loyalty to his administration, particularly considering Mr. Governor’s various interventions aimed at repositioning the agency through his unparalleled commitment to free and qualitative basic education.
Prof. Akinwumi prayed for more of this laudable achievement even as the Governor continue in his quest to lift the state to greater heights.
