…Says APC will coast to landslide victory in LG poll

The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr Habibat Adubiaro has expressed her satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of APC councillorship primary election nominations in all the local governments and LCDAs in Ekiti state.
Mrs Adubiaro who was at her political home, Ado APC ward 11 this afternoon to perform her constitutional right as a loyal and committed party leader to affirm the councillorship candidate of her ward, Mr Tolulope Daramola commended party members and leaders for their massive turn out for the exercise.
She applauded party leaders for their efforts in ensuring that councillorship candidates emerged in all the wards through consensus in a free and fair manner. The SSG added that the peaceful conduct of the congress affirmed that APC is a party where democracy thrives.
“I am excited and satisfied with the peaceful conduct of today’s exercise. Everything went on smoothly without any interruption and our party leaders and members turned up impressively.
“Our party leaders should be commended for ensuring that councillorship candidates emerged in a free and fair process and I also commended all councillorship aspirants for behaving maturely. Politics should be seen as a lively game not a do or die affair”
The university don congratulated the winners of today’s councillorship primary election nominations and urged them to be magnanimous in victory. She expressed optimism that APC would coast to landslide victory in the upcoming local government poll.
“I congratulate all the winners in today’s primary elections which was conducted in all the 177 wards we have in Ekiti state. Winners should be magnanimous in victory by carrying along those that contested with them in their campaign activities so that our party can record total victory. They can’t do it alone as a tree cannot make a forest” she remarked.
