Ekiti State House of Assembly has congratulated Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, CON on his emergence as Senate Leader of the 10th National Assembly.
The House also thanked the leadership of the All Progressive Congres (APC) across board for the choice of the revered Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressive Congress.
A statement by the Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon.Babatunde Oke stated that the appointment was a well-deserved one and in line with the progressive vision and goals set forth for the legislative agenda of the 10th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The House while expressing delight on the appointment of the Ekiti born Lawmaker, assured that he would bring his wealth of experience, dedication and extensive knowledge and understanding of parliamentary processes, coupled with his exceptional leadership abilities to his new role as Leader of the National Assembly.
According to the Chairman, the House described Senator Bamidele as a man who will play a crucial role in shaping and steering legislative decisions that will positively impact the lives of the citizens.
Hon. Babatunde Oke expressed that the entire 26 Lawmakers of the Ekiti State House of Assembly warmly extend their sincere congratulations on his new role and reaffirmed their confidence in his abilities to execute his duties with integrity, fairness and impartiality.
The House however concluded by stating its commitment to working with Senator Opeyemi Bamidele to achieve the aspirations of the people, promote national unity and bring about positive change to the Nation and Ekiti in particular.
