Heritagenewng report that the head coach of Agbana Wonderful Academy, Ademola Agbana has commended the Chairman, Ekiti State Sports Council, Mrs Olusola Osetoba for her magnanimity.
The Ado Ekiti based coach said he was pleasantly surprised and excited when the Sports Council boss gave his team the approval to use the soccer pitch of the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado as its training ground.
Coach Agbana said Mrs Osetoba gladly gave the go ahead as soon as the team tabled its humble request before her.
He described the gesture as a sign of true sportsmanship exhibited by Ekiti State Sports Council chairman stressing that the players of Agbana Wonderful Academy have been psychologically motivated since they started training on the natural grass at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.
The coach urged her to keep up the good work by encouraging up and coming sportsmen and women adding that her name was already being written in gold among the sports circle in Ekiti state.
Coach Agbana promised to ensure proper maintenance of the stadium facilities before , during and after their training sessions.

Meanwhile, coach Ademola Agbana while lauding the kindness of Mrs Olusola Osetoba said the request to use the footbal pitch for two days training was to let the players of Agbana Wonderful Academy get acquainted with the pitch ahead of the forthcoming final match of a football competiton at the stadium.
He said the training had been concluded today (Friday 17th September) and the players will not converge there henceforth.
The coach however said the two days opportunity accorded the team shall forever be appreciated as the sports Council boss never requested for money nor any form of gratification prior and after the approval to train twice on the pitch.
He promised to always support the revenue generation drive of the Sports Council management by paying all due charges for usage of the stadium facilities for any competitive match or event.
Agbana Wonderful Academy is a football team based in Ado Ekiti that was founded in 1997.
It has produced some rising footballers like rhe current captain of Ekiti United fc, Bello Babatunde, Afisu Jelili currently with Bendel Insurance FC, current Eyimba Captain, Dare Olatunji,Gombe United striker, Dauda Olalere as well as Toheeb Taiwo who is playing in Slovakia Premier league.
Though the team has been making exploits in its little capacity without having any major sponsor .
Agbana Wonderful Academy also has young players between under 12 and under 19 as well as a female footbal team.
Interestingly, a young premier league Referee, Gbenga Akomolafe began his football career at Agbana Wonderful Academy.
