Cleric Seeks God’s Wisdom for Oyebanji to Steer the Ship of State

…As Governor-elect honours deceased Rep member at wake- keep

A cleric, Rev. Ajaguna of St Paul Anglican Church, has sought God’s wisdom for Ekiti Governor-elect, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to steer the ship of Ekiti State.

The cleric in his sermon at the wake keep held for a former House of Representative member, late George Tunji Akawa, at his residence in Ado-Ekiti, urged the Governor-elect to use his position for the glory of God and allow the fear of God to manifest in whatever he does.

“We are very glad to have the newly elected Governor of Ekiti state in our midst. We thank you for the honour you have done the deceased and his family by attending this wake keep service.

“What I can only say is that, the wisdom to steer the ship of Ekiti state, God Almighty will grant it to you. I also want to urge the Governor-elect to use his new position for the glory of God”

Earlier, the son of the late politician, Ayodeji Akawa, while giving testimony about his late father, expressed gratitude on behalf of the family to the Governor-elect for attending the wake keep service.
