Heritagenewsng report the breaking latest development on the arrest of the acclaimed Yoruba Nation Agitators’ leader, Sunday Adeyemo, Aka, Sunday Igboho.

The authorities of the International Police and the Government of the Republic of Benin , this morning , alarmed that Chief Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho) would not be handled over to the Nigerian Police without undergoing the necessary hearings and international procudures.

Heritagenewsng  reports that the country which last Monday arrested Chief Sunday following the alarm raised by the Nigerian police said that the international law demands that the lives and integrities of all arrested individuals should be preserved.

They further said that Chief Sunday Igboho is not considered a criminal, he is an agitator and could be benefited with the state of a Political Refugee in the west African country

The Benin Repúblic said that the arrest was made following the alarm raised but it is not automatic that the arrested person will be handed over to the country demanding him easily.

They cited Brazil , United Kingdom and several other countries who have also refused to return arrested individuals to the country demanding them

Heritagenews has gathered that the British Government and the German Government already manifested interest in the case.

They have warned that the Benin Repúblic should avoid international conflict and never to allow Chief Sunday Adeyemo be taken to Nigeria, they said that the Federal government of Nigeria is still under scrutiny over the abduction of the IPOB leader and agitator, Masi Nnamdi Kanu .

“Sunday Adeyemo can only be returned back to Nigeria if only he is found to have broken any law in Benin Republic. Sunday Igboho as we know did not break any law in Benin. He was arrested under false alarm raised by the NIGERIAN Government.

We are ontop of the situation right now. We have successfully notified the British government on the dangers of letting Sunday Adeyemo returned to Nigeria where his life is at risk. We believe that before the end of today, BRITAIN would have granted his request for asylum in good faith.”

Heritagenews as gathered that the Yoruba in the Republic of Benin has pronounced that it will fight to the end to make sure that the Yoruba agitator is not handed over to the government of Nigeria “ we are Yorubas , we will stand firmly by Chief Sunday Igboho against any irregularities, he will not go to Nigeria” Chief Adeogun Sangodade said.

The Benin Repúblic said that the Government of Nigeria a serious state of insecurity, and that the life of Chief Sunday Igboho might not be safe

However, the authorities of the Nigerian Police already filed in a request to repatriate the Yoruba agitator to Nigeria. The request filed by the Nigerian government is yet to be analyzed by the government of Benin Repúblic.
