ASUSS Congratulates Ronke Soyombo on Appointment as TRCN Registrar and Chief Executive Officer
The Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS) has extended warm congratulations to Dr Mrs. Ronke Soyombo on her recent appointment as the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
A statement issued in Abuja by the President, Comrade Adigun and Secretary-General, Comrade Kenneth Okoh, described Dr. Soyombo’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of her dogged commitment to the education sector and her vast experience in educational administration and policy development.
They noted that her emergence at the helm of the TRCN comes at a crucial time when the teaching profession in Nigeria requires visionary leadership, standardisation, and renewed emphasis on professionalism and ethics.
“On behalf of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS), we heartily congratulate Mrs. Ronke Soyombo on her appointment as the Executive Secretary of the TRCN.
