Alawe Congratulates New Commissioner of Police Mrs Olufunke Ogunbode
The Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti, HRM Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, AFUNTADE 1, has congratulated Mrs Olufunke Adeayo Ogunbode, an illustrious daughter of Ilawe-Ekiti on her elevation to the position of Commissioner of police .
The Alawe also congratulated the Adetayo family of Ilawe and the entire Ilawe-Ekiti Community for this good development.
Oba Alabi said: ‘it is a thing of Joy that Ilawe-Ekiti indigenes are always excelling in whatever position they find themselves’ stressing that Mrs Ogunbode’s elevation was the latest of such achievements .
The Alawe stated that the promotion came as a result of the commissioner of Police Ogunbode’s dedication and professionalism on duty.

Mrs Ogunbode was the Assistant Commissioner of police, pensions department , police headquarters before her elevation.
