A renowned Founder of a national charitable organisation, a foundation known for its philanthropic gestures, Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has distributed free cooking gas to no fewer than hundreds Civil Servants, in Ijero Local Government Area of Ekiti State last Saturday.
The kindhearted ceremony was held on Saturday in Ijero Ekiti.
The Media Aide to the Founder, Comrade Francis Adewumi acknowledged that the Foundation has been contributing immensely to the development of the Ekiti and humanity at large, especially in the areas of social welfare, child education among many other programs.
“I express our gratitude and appreciation to the brains behind this remarkable initiative founded and funded by Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan in giving free gas to hundreds Civil Servants in Ijero Local Government Area, Ekiti State.
“Our Foundation’s commitment to making positive impact on the lives of everybody in our society.
The distribution of free cooking gas would give immeasurable joy and relief to the beneficiaries. Your dedication to addressing the needs of the people reflects a genuine understanding of the challenges they face, and your action speak volumes about the compassion and empathy embedded in ODF’s mission.

Meanwhile Falegan through his Deputy Director General,Hon. Tosin Ajayi seized the opportunity to also call on other well-to-do Nigerians, to emulate the kind-gesture of ODF.
Adding that, government at all levels cannot fulfill all its promises to brighten the lives of the citizenry, hence the need for NGOs and philanthropists to help put smiles on people’s faces.
Two of the beneficiaries, Seun Ajayi and Ilesanmi Samuel, extolled the lofty ideals of the Foundation, and prayed for its growth in leaps and bounds.
Some of the towns who benefited in Ijero Local Government Area are; Ijero,Ikoro,Ipoti,Iloro,Ayegunle,Epe,Ara,Oke Oro,Ejiyan,Owatedo,Ikurin,Odo Owa,Ilukuno, Temidire,Araromi,Apo,Ikoro among many villages.
