The Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti state Governor on Special Duties, Hon. Jide Akintola has given his reasons why Gov. Oyebanji should be re-elected for another term of fours in office.
He gave reasons why the Governor deserves another term in office in an interview with Heritagenewsng.com in Ado-Ekiti on Monday.
According to Mr Akintola, Governor Oyebanji has performed excellently well in the last two and half years by delivering on all his campaign promises.
He highlighted various achievements recorded by Governor Oyebanji which included road infrastructure, electricity supply to communities that have been in darkness for years, huge investment in Agriculture, youth development, regular payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities and lots more.
He stated further that what Ekiti needs at present is continuity of good governance as experienced in other developed states.
“The people of Ekiti should give Governor another chance of four yeas in office to enable him consolidate on his laudable achievements. The Governor in the last three years has performed creditably well. All his achievements are visible for everyone to see.
“Talk of the education sector, transport, Agriculture and others sectors, we can all see the good impact of the Governor. I think the only way the people of Ekiti can appreciate the Governor is by giving him the opportunity to govern the state for another term in office” Akintola stated.
The Governor’s aide called for more support for the administration of Governor Oyebanji and assured them of more dividend of democracy from the Governor.
