Torrents of accolades have been continuously showered on our men in politics while a sizeable outlandish performances of our women in politics have been consigned to the trash bag of non-acknowledgement.
The vital roles of our enigmatic and go-getting Amazon in politics are quite intimidating!
There is a truism in Henry Wadsworth Longfellows assertion that “we judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing while others are judged by what they have already done.”
It is against the backdrop of the above didactic quote Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe will be holistically x-rayed using the parameters of her performance scorecard.
Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe who is a Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora, within the shortest time of assumption of office has achieved too many to mention.
Without mincing words, her contributions towards the lives of her Constituents are so impressive that it has been adjudged a rarity in the political antecedents of previous members of the Green Chamber from her Constituency.
Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe’s mother has maternal roots in Ladigbolu. She is a daughter of Abdul Mojeed Olalekan Akande of Adebiopon compound Kudeti and Olose Village Orisunbaare. Asipa Are of Ibadanland in his lifetime, nephew of Olubadan Adebimpe of blessed memory.
Her impressive performance, no doubt, is traceable fore and foremost to God, Nature and Nurture. Her growing up in an environment that offered sound tutelage and good parental upbringing cum her sound educational background have perfectly put her in a more vantage position to serve diligently and selflessly her Constituency and Nigeria as a whole.
While some MHR’s are dormant partners in the Green Chamber, Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe like a political cum Royal Amazon she is, has contributed immensely to processes Motion initiation and completion in the Green Chamber.
The success of her contributions as an active and game-changer Representative of his Constituency in the Green Chamber are made manifest the following:
Her role in pushing the motion on the need to ensure the remittances of Nigerians in Diaspora and its impact on the nations economy was undauntedly accomplished.
She vehemently moved the amendment motion on Sexual Related Crimes against innocent children and minors . Her strong point was pivoted on the urgent need to stamp out this odious and dehumanizing traumatic menace in our society.
Deeply inspired by Karl von Clausewitz’s quote that war or insecurity is the continuation of politics by other means, Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe sponsored the amendment of a motion on insecurity in Nigeria as a whole as it is given special attention on insecurity issues in Zamfara State.
Hon Akande-Sadipe has played an indispensable role via her contributions at the National Assembly on the issue of Xenophobic attacks unleashed on Nigerians and other Nationals in South Africa. She advocated that the Government at the Centre should provide more Airlifting means of getting Nigerians that were stuck in South Africa out of the danger zone.
She also facilitated a Petition on the rationale behind the lackadaisical and inefficient manner of handling the construction of Ijebuigbo-Itaegba-Owonowem Road, Olomi Ibadan.

Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has to her credit many physical projects which are conspicuously dotted in all the 10 wards in her Constituency. Such projects encapsulate Education, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Water and Light supply and others.
Prominent amongst such laudable projects are:
Oluyole Local Government Ward 1 has 3 Transformers, 3 Boreholes, a State-of-the-art school building and 10 Solar lights projects.
In Ward 2 of Oluyole Local Government, 6 Transformers, 1 Borehole, 3 school buildings and 10 Solar lights projects were manifestations of Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe’s Dividends of Democracy for her Constituency.
Ward 3, Oluyole Local Government got 3 Transformers projects, 2 Boreholes, 10 Solar lights projects.
Ward 4 in her Constituency gained from Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe’s largesse, 1 Transformer, Borehole, 1 school building and 10 Solar lights projects.
In Ward 5 of Oluyole Local Government, 2 Transformers, 1 Borehole, 3 and 10 Solar lights projects were bestowed upon the Constituency as a reward for their commitment to the Democratic development of the Constituency.
Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe deemed it fit to honour the Constituents in Ward 6 with 3 Borehole facilities and 10 Solar lights projects.

1 Transformer, 2 school buildings and 10 Solar lights projects were initiated and completed by Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe in Ward 8, while Ward 9 has 2 Boreholes , 1 school building and 10 Solar lights projects facilitated from start to completion by the Amazon in the Green Chamber, Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe .
Lastly, Ward 10 Oluyole Local Government, received from Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, 2 Transformers, and 10 Solar lights projects as a thank you gift for voting her as a member of the Green Chamber.
Apart from the physical projects, Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe also embarked on some people-oriented empowerment programmes which were channelled towards making her Constituents to be self-reliant and economically fortified.
It is a matter of fact that over 500 women and youths in her Constituency have been empowered in diverse areas of skills acquisition.
Monthly Welfare cum financial assistance is an integral thrust of humanitarian services Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has religiously adhered to. Testimonies abound on the lips of the beneficiaries of this kind gesture.
Road rehabilitation is given a premium attention in the list of her priorities.
Little wonder she confessed that:” I am still vehemently focused on facilitating the rehabilitation of key road construction projects. To mention a few, I have facilitated repairs on Odo-Ona Elewe Idi-Iroko Olugbemi Adewole (Liberty Academy) Road, Ayegun Oleyo-bare Abeokuta Road and Olomi Olojuoro-ita Egba-ijebu Igbo Road and will continue to lobby the appropriate agencies, FERMA and the Ministry of Works and Housing on these roads.
In the areas of education, Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe blazed the trail via provision of educational support in the areas of payment of WAEC/NECO exams fees and organizing extra mural classes for Secondary school Students.
Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe’s putting in place a N25million Scholarship Scheme for Undergraduates offers a place with the Kings.
Pupils and teachers Ara-Oje Community will forever enjoy the euphoria of Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe’s construction of the Public Toilet facilities for them.
Her rehabilitating the Baare Health Centre and which are the Dividends of Democracy arising from Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe’s end will forever remain evergreen in the annals of Oyo State Politics.
The Empowerment of Rice Farmers and the Training and Start up funding across the Agriculture Value Chain , the Loan Scheme for Women Empowerment such as ” Tie and Dye ” practicals in Abeokuta, Aso- Oke production in Oyo State, Acquatic Agricultural Fish Rearing. Empowerment materials bestowed on trainees were 15 vehicles, 40 horizontal Freezers, 35 laptops, 47 Grinding Machines, 45 Sewing Machines and the like.
Hon Sadipe’s concrete plan to set up a Library Facility and Teenage Book Club , the actualisation of which will go a long way to buttress the assertion that “Readers are Leaders”and other life-changing programmes of Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe made her a Numero Uno Political Phenomenon.
In the light of Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipes sternling qualities and impressive performance within the shortest time of her assumption of office, she deserves a Second Term in office.
