The Accord Party Governorship candidate in the 2026 Ekiti state Governorship election, Hon Opeyemi David Falegan has called on good Nigerians to continue to pray for the release of the schools children unharmed.
He said this in a message of sympathy to Nigeria people recently.
He said at a time when education should be a beacon of hope, our girls and boys have once again become victims of fear and violence.
Falegan frowned at the heartbreaking attacks on Maga Girls’ Secondary School in Kebbi State and St. Mary’s Primary and Secondary School, Papiri, in Niger State, adding that this have shaken the nation to its core.
“We cannot remain silent.
We cannot become numb.
We cannot allow the future of our daughters and sons to be stolen by insecurity”,
“These innocent children went to schools to learn, to dream, and to build a better tomorrow. Instead, they were met with terror. Their families are in anguish, their communities in pain, and the entire country awaits justice”he lamented.
The Governorship hopeful said today, the nation raises their voices with one message that,
justice must be ascertained. Security must be maintained.
Falegan added that every child in Nigeria deserves safety, dignity, and protection, he demanded the immediate and safe return of every abducted girl and boy and we demand that those responsible for these heinous acts be held accountable without delay.
In his words, our schools must never become targets.
Our children must never become bargaining chips.
Our leaders must rise to defend the vulnerable and restore confidence in our nation’s security.
