Political Office Holders from Ado-Ekiti Declare Support for Governor Oyebanji’s Second Term Bid

Political Office Holders from Ado-Ekiti have declared support for the second time bid of Governor Biodun Oyebanji .

Rising from their monthly meeting chaired by the Secretary to the Ekiti State Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday,
prominent sons and daughters of Ado-Ekiti in government reaffirmed their commitment to the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.


In her remarks at the event Prof. Adubiaro lauded the achievements of the Oyebanji-led administration, highlighting its strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic development which she disclosed are main reasons why all segments of the entire State are clamoring for the reelection of the Ekiti State helmsman .

She urged all political stakeholders present to continue propagating the successes of the administration to their constituents and to mobilize grassroots support ahead of the forthcoming election.

“The governor has demonstrated uncommon dedication and competence in governance. He deserves our total support, and we must ensure he is rewarded with a second term by our people. This is not the time for silence. Every one of us must return to our wards and spread the message of continuity and progress,” she said.

The meeting also featured notable political figures such as the former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Prof. Modupe Adelabu; former presidential adviser and APC stalwart, Senator Babafemi Ojudu; the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon Tayo Adeola, the Ado local government chairman Hon. Bosun Osaloni; his counterparts in Ado Local Council Development Areas, DG, Bureau of Community Communications Hon.Mary Osho Omotoso and several other dignitaries.

In her contributions,the former Deputy Governor of the State ,Prof. Modupe Adelabu described Governor Oyebanji as “a leader with vision and compassion,” noting that his inclusive style of governance has brought a sense of belonging to every part of the state, including Ado-Ekiti. “What Oyebanji has done in less than four years is remarkable. His government is people-centered, and we must do everything to ensure continuity,” she stated.

Similarly, Senator Babafemi Ojudu called on all political leaders from Ado-Ekiti to put aside personal interests and work in unity to return Governor Oyebanji for a second term. “This is about the future of Ekiti. It is about sustaining good governance and protecting the integrity of our political structure. We must all rally behind the governor,” Ojudu emphasized.

In his remarks, an Elder Statesman , Pa. Adigun and other speakers echoed the same message of solidarity, stressing the need for all political appointees and elected officials from Ado to become ambassadors of the Oyebanji administration in their respective domains.
He noted that the Ado political office holders’ meeting continues to serve as a strong political support base for the administration, reflecting the collective resolve of Ado-Ekiti indigenes in government to back the governor’s re-election campaign with vigor and strategic inputs

The atmosphere at the meeting was one of unity, commitment, and shared purpose, as attendees pledged to redouble their efforts in ensuring that Governor Oyebanji receives overwhelming support in the upcoming election
