Earlier today, the performing Reps Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency, Hon. Samuel Odagboyi Godday flagged off the construction of Oshigbudu – Ichogolugu earth road in Agatu Local Government Area as part of his efforts towards alleviating the living condition of his people.
The Honourable Member who was represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Mr. Ben Ekah charged the contractor to ensure speedy and quality delivery of the project.
He further encouraged the benefiting communities to maximally support the site workers while promising to ensure that the project is achieved within the stipulated time frame.
Upon completion, the road which hitherto, isn’t motorable during the rainy season will become useful to motorists at all seasons; this gesture will ease the transportation of agricultural products to the point of sales and as well, promote the socio-economic well-being of the people.
Benefiting communities of this project include; Enogaje, Ichogolugu, Okwutalobe, Okpagabi, Ello and other boundary communities to Kogi State.
It will be recalled that, other earth roads in Apa/Agatu have received similar attention by the Reps Member which are motorable today, irrespective of the rainy or dry seasons, including Oshigbudu – Atakpa – Ogbaulu road in Agatu Local Government Area as well as that of Oba town in Apa Local Government Area.
For now, the good works will continue till 2027, God bless Apa/Agatu!!!
