Governor Oyebanji Bags Prestigious Award for Peace and Development Efforts

At the 20th Synod of Ekiti Anglican Diocese, hosted by the Church of Nigeria, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji was adorned with the Award of Excellence for his remarkable impact on peace and development in Ekiti state. The award was presented to the Governor by Rt. Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun, the Commissioner for Information in the state, who was delegated on behalf of the diocese by the Bishop.

Accepting the award on behalf of the Governor, the State Head of Service expressed gratitude to the church for recognizing the Governor’s contributions, describing him as the right leader for Ekiti at this critical time. He also extended appreciation for the church’s continued support and requested prayers for the Governor’s ongoing endeavors.

The recognition underscores Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to fostering peace and development in Ekiti state, highlighting the collaborative efforts between the government and religious institutions in advancing the well-being of the community.

Dignitaries at the presentation of the award are, Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employement, Otunba Kayode Fasae, Former Chief Judge of Ekiti state, Hon. Justice Ayodeji S. Daramola and others.
