The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has promised all civil servants in Ekiti South a free cooking gas soon.
He promised to give workers in federal state and local civil service free gas on Saturday 2nd of November 2024.
Falegan said the foundation will continue the free cooking gas distribution on the said date at Ilawe.
The venue is at God’s Will Gas Station along igbara odo.
“Many residents of the area most especially federal , state and local government workers are expected to be at *God’s Will Gas Along Igbara Odo Ilawe on Saturday 2nd of November. Civil servants are asked to come out in numbers for the free cooking gas”he advised.
In a press statement signed by himself and made available to news men recently, Falegan said the palliative are meant for all civil servants in the state.
The founder said the exercise will be done in all the 16 local government in the state it is turn for Odo, ilawe, igbara odo Ikogosi and ogotun area of Ekiti South local government area.
The founder said, he’s proud and happy to do his part to help ease the pain felt by Nigerians because of the hike in gas prices and economy challenges.
The donor said that, the gesture is to ameliorate the suffering of the citizens in the state.
Earlier, he said the distribution of free cooking gas is part of the foundation’s support to the good people of Ekiti in ameliorating the suffering of the people.
According to him, all civil servants must come to the venue with their valid official identity cards.
He urged every intending beneficiary to maintain peace and orderliness during the exercise, promising that, there will law enforcement agents on ground.
Falegan warned that those who has nothing to do with the exercise should stay away from the venue
