Fayemi Has Performed Beyond Expectations- Ogunlola

 

The Senior Special Assistant on Mobilization to the Ekiti state Governor, Prince Tunji Ogunlola has described the Ekiti state Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi as a performing Governor.

Ogunlola who made this known today while featured on a Yoruba Magazine programmes “Ejire” aired live on the state owned television station,BSES, noted the Governor has met the expectation of Ekiti people.

He said governor Fayemi has done a lot in terms of infrastructure, roads projects, education, health,human capital development, entrepreneurship programmes for youths and empowerment for women and aged.

According to the SSA, The Governor’s developmental strides are feasible in all the 16 local government areas of the state.

Some of the projects highlighted by Ogunlola included Aramoko-Erijiyan-Ikogosi roads, Ado-Iyin dual carriage,Aisegba-Agbado-Ode roads,Oye-Ire roads, construction of new water corporation headquarters, Civic Center, four Model Secondary Schools, completion of Ado-Ekiti Central Market, completion of abandoned projects at the state secretariat as well as on-going Cargo Airport among others.

In education, Ogunlola said the Governor has renovated more than 700 public primary schools across towns and villages in the state.

” The Governor’s wealth of experience has been exemplified in the quick impact and legacy projects to the people of the state”.

Reacting to question on the inauguration of Southwest Agenda (SWAGA) yesterday at the state capital,the Governor’s Aide described SWAGA as a pressure group within APC, called on them to join hands with governor Fayemi in moving the state forward.

” SWAGA is a pressure group like JKF Continuity,JKF Advocates, nothing is special about them. Majority of the people at the event were hired”. He submitted.

The Governor’s Aide said ” Continuity of APC in Ekiti is a task every members of the party must work towards”, expressed confidence that Ekiti state will never return to the years of locust.
