A renowned Founder of a charitable organisation, a foundation known for its philanthropic gestures, Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has been described as an outstanding apolitical humanitarian and philanthropist in Ekiti state.
This statement was made by some of the beneficiaries in the free cooking gas pallative held in Omuo Oke this weekend.

In a statement issued by the Philanthropist’s Media Aide, Comrade Adewumi Francis in Ado and made available to journalists he said the pallative was distributed to hundreds Civil Servants, in Ekiti East Local Government Area of Ekiti State this last weekend.
“The kindhearted ceremony was held on Saturday in Omuo Oke – Ekiti were hundreds women all civil servants were singing praises on Falegan for the pallative, adding that such gesture in this manner has never happened in the area.
The Media Aide acknowledged that the Foundation has been contributing immensely to the development of the Ekiti and humanity at large, especially in the areas of social welfare, child education among many other programs.
“I express our gratitude and appreciation to the brains behind this remarkable initiative founded and funded by Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan in giving free gas to hundreds Civil Servants in Ekiti East Local Government Area, Ekiti State.
“Our Foundation’s commitment to making positive impact on the lives of everybody in our society.
The distribution of free cooking gas would give immeasurable joy and relief to the beneficiaries. Your dedication to addressing the needs of the people reflects a genuine understanding of the challenges they face, and your action speak volumes about the compassion and empathy embedded in ODF’s mission.
“The impact of Our outreach goes beyond the free cooking gas aspect. It radiates a sense of community, care, and solidarity that is truly heartwarming. The people in our society often face various challenges, and your thoughtful gesture has not only alleviated some of burdens but has also shown them that they are valued and remembered.

He seized the opportunity to also call on other well-to-do Nigerians, to emulate the kind-gesture of ODF.
Adding that, government at all levels cannot fulfill all its promises to brighten the lives of the citizenry, hence the need for NGOs and philanthropists to help put smiles on people’s faces.
Some of the beneficiaries, Mrs.Ajayi Oluwabunmi, Mrs.Komolafe Adesola, Mrs.Olajide Bosede Eunice, Mrs.Oluwaseyi Toyin, Mrs.Olayode Veronica, Mrs. Kemisola Adeyeye, and Ademola Abiodun, extolled the lofty ideals of the Foundation, and prayed for its growth in leaps and bounds.
Some of the towns who benefited in Ekiti East Local Government Area are; Omuo, Omuo Oke, Kota, Eda Ile, Ilasa among many towns and villages.
