Ekiti State Deputy Governor-Elect, Chief Mrs. Monisade Christiana Afuye has promised her support for Crown Polytechnic, Odo, Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State.
Afuye made the promise on Friday when the Management of the Institution paid her a congratulatory visit at her residence in Ikere Ekiti.
The team was led by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Mr. Ajisola Kolawole, with some principal officers; Mr. Alagbe Sunday Oluwagbemiga, Registrar and Mrs.y Funmilola Omoniyi, the Bursar of the Institution.
Chief Afuye who appreciated the team for the visit assured them that she will be willing and ready to support the Institution anytime the need arises.
“I am always with you and will be available at any time to give my support to your Institution. I appreciate your coming and your gift” She said.
While presenting her a gift, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Mr. Ajisola Kolawole congratulated the newly elected Deputy Governor on the victory in the governorship poll.
He said the Institution is glad to identify with her and will cooperate with the new governnt where necessary for the development of tertiary education in Ekiti State.
Also on the team are; the Director of Academic Planning, Mr. Asubiojo Jospeh; some academic senior staff, Alhaji Hameed Bakare, Mr. Adeyanju J.F, Mrs. Agunbiade Christiana Idowu, and the Polytechnic Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ajagbe Stephen Olawale.
