Bayo Famoroti celebrates birthday
It was a big surprise at Ekiti State Broadcasting Stations when the Fav Media Crew surprised their boss, and colleague Evang. Bayo Famoroti after his Sunday morning program at the complex with serenade , at funfair and birthday cake.
An overwhelmed Famoroti appreciated Mr. Olu popoola, the General Manager of the station and the Director of Program, Mrs Dunni Ayeni, for the funfair.
The celebrant appreciated God during his thanksgiving at St Paul’s Anglican church, Odo Ado Ekiti.
The celebrant and friends later moved to Delight Topland station, Ado Ekiti ,for the get together.
As it is a thing of joy when people gather together to celebrate a legendary broadcaster and his achievements in the broadcasting industry, the occasion attracted friends and well-wishers.
People gave different testimonies about the celebrant, while some said he is a trainer that trained more than 50 people in broadcasting,
some said he is Afuni lonje ma wobe… meaning that he is not over-bearing on his trainees.
Among those present at the event are, great politicians, representative of His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Hon. Sam, Hon. Tope Engr Deji, Chief Kayode Abegunde (Awoto) and Hon. Taiwo Ayodeji (Adlat ) a long with notable leaders in broadcasting industry like Mr. Aremu Olorunfemi aka Asoro gbayi who is the FIBAN chairman in Ekiti, Mr Olusola Oladele a.k.a Pa Arisco, Prince Adekunle Adeniyi aka Baba Chinedu, Hon. Leke Aribasoye. Labeorun,
Association of Nigerian Broadcasters that Bayo Famoroti belongs to were also present, Hon. Olatomide Feyisayo the Deputy Governor of ANBROAD, Mr Ojo Awogbemi aka Kabiesi, Mr Oloruntoba Ajibade, Mr Kayode and others.
Also present are the events were: Laafin Drama group led by Prince Gbenga Sodeinde a veteran journalist, Supo Yetunde, and Mr Femi a famous Radio technician in Ado Ekiti. Others are the lecturers and students of Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti. Fav Media Crew led by Mrs Ifedolapo Omoolorun Esan.
The Management Topland were also present.
Donations were also received from well wishers.
