Barrister Ojo Commends Growing Endorsements of Gov Oyebanji for Second Term

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Gbenga Ojo, has described the increasing endorsements of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), for a second term as a testament to his urbane leadership and the prevailing peaceful coexistence in Ekiti State.

In a statement released to the media, Barrister Ojo noted that Governor Oyebanji has performed excellently and is well deserving of another term in office.

“For the first time in the history of Ekiti State, members of the National Assembly, presidential appointees from the state, members of the State House of Assembly, and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both state and local government levels—spanning Ekiti South, Central, and North Senatorial Districts—have unanimously endorsed BAO for a second term. These are indeed commendable endorsements,” Ojo stated.

He further emphasized the current peace in Ekiti’s political atmosphere, which he attributed to Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive and mature leadership style.

“Unlike previous administrations, Ekiti’s political landscape is now marked by unity and decorum, rather than pre-election rancor and verbal abuse among aspirants. Governor Oyebanji stands as a popular and unifying figure whose impact is truly immeasurable.”

Barrister Ojo also called on the good people of Ekiti State to continue supporting and praying for the success of Governor Oyebanji’s administration.

“The APC in Ekiti has a credible and widely accepted candidate in Governor Oyebanji for the 2026 gubernatorial poll. His wide acceptance and proven performance are clear indicators that the party is poised to secure a resounding victory, possibly a clean sweep of 16:0 in the next election.”
