…..Urges them not to betray the trust repose in them
The secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro has called on the newly elected Councilors to live up to expectations by staying true to their promises and be loyal to the present administration.
The SSG made this call during a courtesy visit of the councilors from all the 13 wards in Ado to her office in Ado-Ekiti.
Dr. Adubiaro, a seasoned politician with a smile welcomed the councilors graciously, acknowledged their gesture and emphasized the importance of staying true to their promises.
She said, ” Your loyalty to the present administration is commendable.
“But remember, words are not enough. Your actions must reflect your pledge to serve your people and support the government”
She admonished.
The SSG also reminded them of the trust bestowed upon them by the administration and urged them to uphold their responsibilities with integrity and dedication.
” Do not falter in your loyalty, the people have placed their trust in you and it is your duty to honor that trust” she advised”.
In response, the ward 12 Councilor who is also the leader of the house, Hon. Babatunde Arogundade said to the SSG that they have determined to solidify their allegiance to the State Government and also expressed their unwavering loyalty to the present administration and their commitment to serving their constituents diligently.
The Councilors in agreement, understanding the weight of Dr Adubiaro’s words pledged to remain steadfast in their support for the government and vowed to work tirelessly for the betterment of their Communities.
The Councilors who left the office of the SSG with a renewed sense of purpose were determined to fulfill their promises and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people they served with Dr Adubiaro’s advice echoing in their minds as they embarked on their journey, ready to uphold their loyalty to the Ekiti State Government at all cost.
