We proudly and unequivocally congratulate His Excellency, Biodun Oyebanji, on his decisive victory at the Federal High Court, Abuja, today.
This judgment stands as a bold and unmistakable affirmation of the legitimacy and credibility of the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial primary election held on the 27th of October, 2025, which produced Governor Oyebanji as the party’s flag bearer. It further reinforces the will of party members and the people of Ekiti State, who have continued to stand firmly behind his leadership.
Once again, this ruling exposes the futility of baseless distractions and politically motivated attempts to undermine a transparent and duly conducted party process. It is a clear judicial endorsement of internal party democracy and a firm rejection of unnecessary political litigation.
Today’s decision sends a strong message: the era of using the courts as instruments of political intimidation and obstruction is over. Justice has prevailed, and the collective decision of APC members in Ekiti State has been rightfully upheld.
Governor Oyebanji has remained resolute, undistracted, and committed to delivering impactful governance despite these challenges. His administration continues to prioritize development, stability, and the welfare of Ekiti citizens over political theatrics.
We therefore call on all aggrieved parties and opposition elements to sheath their swords, respect this judgment, and join hands in the collective task of advancing Ekiti State. The time for division is over; the time for unity and purposeful governance is now.
This victory is not just for His Excellency, it is a victory for democracy, for our great party, the All Progressives Congress, and for every Ekiti citizen who believes in due process and progress.
