A socio-democratic group, Owo/Ose Rainbow Coalition, has declared its support for the candidacy of women and child rights advocate, Hon. Abebi Aruwajoye-Adeniseun, ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.
In a statement signed by its Executive Director, Dr. Olatunji Yusuf, the group described Aruwajoye-Adeniseun as a credible, compassionate, and people-oriented leader, noting that her longstanding advocacy for women and children positions her as a strong contender to represent Owo/Ose Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The coalition expressed confidence in her ability to restore public trust in governance, adding that her agenda aligns with the Renewed Hope vision of President Bola Tinubu.
It further noted that beyond her advocacy, she has demonstrated a consistent commitment to the welfare of vulnerable groups, including the elderly, women, and children, while also supporting the preservation and strengthening of traditional institutions.
According to the group, her emergence would consolidate the developmental strides of Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, whose administration it said has recorded progress across critical sectors.
The coalition also highlighted her focus on grassroots empowerment, particularly her plans to support farmers, petty traders, and youths through targeted initiatives, access to small-scale business credit, and sustainable economic programmes.
It urged constituents of Owo and Ose to rally behind her candidature, stressing that her representation would ensure inclusive development and improved living standards.
The statement read in part:“Hon. Abebi Aruwajoye-Adeniseun has consistently demonstrated her commitment to humanity as a strong voice for women and children.
“Her vision goes beyond promises. She is focused on prioritising the welfare of the aged, women, and children, while strengthening traditional institutions.
“She possesses a deep understanding of governance and the needs of the people. Her alignment with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu, alongside her intention to build on the achievements of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, reflects her readiness for leadership.
“She has both the capacity and compassion to ensure that the dividends of democracy are felt by all, especially farmers, petty traders, and young people through practical empowerment initiatives.
“We believe she is the right candidate for the job and urge the people to support her at the polls.
