The lawmaker representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abiodun Francis Omoleye, has launched a bursary and postgraduate grant scheme aimed at supporting students across the constituency.
The initiative, which targets indigenes of Ekiti West, Efon, and Ijero Local Government Areas, is designed to provide financial assistance to both undergraduate and postgraduate students studying in recognised institutions across Nigeria.
Omoleye said the programme underscores his commitment to education, youth empowerment, and human capital development, stressing that education remains a critical driver of sustainable development and community advancement.
According to him, the scheme will cater to students pursuing undergraduate degrees as well as postgraduate programmes, including Master’s and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD).
Eligible students have been invited to apply through designated online platforms.

The statement noted that applicants must be indigenes of Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II, covering Ekiti West, Efon, and Ijero LGAs, adding that all submissions will undergo verification before selection.
It also emphasised that only qualified and duly verified candidates would benefit from the bursary and grant scheme.
Omoleye reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that no deserving student in the constituency is denied access to education due to financial constraints, urging eligible students to take advantage of the opportunity.
