Venite University Expands Ado-Ekiti Campus, Targets Improved Learning Ahead of 2026/2027 Session

In a strategic move to strengthen academic delivery and infrastructure ahead of the 2026/2027 academic session, the management of Venite University, Iloro-Ekiti, has intensified preparations with a working visit to its Ado-Ekiti campus.

Led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charity O. Aremu, the management team on Thursday inspected the campus located along Bank Road, beside Bovas Filling Station, as part of efforts to ensure readiness for students.

Accompanied by the Registrar, Dr. Ezekiel A. Agbaje, and a member of the Governing Council, Hon. Dapo Kolawole, the Vice-Chancellor expressed satisfaction with the level of development and facilities at the centre.

She particularly commended the quality of infrastructure provided for Medical, Diploma and Internship students, describing the facility as one of the best among private universities.

“What we have seen here reflects our commitment to excellence. The facilities on ground are not only modern but also tailored to support quality learning for our Medical, Diploma and Internship students. This centre is undoubtedly among the best operated by private institutions,” Aremu stated.

The Vice-Chancellor further disclosed that the ongoing project at the campus is expected to be completed within the next five months, assuring that the institution remains focused on delivering a conducive academic environment.

As part of its broader development drive, the management also visited the University’s Enterprise Centre at Textile, Basiri, Ado-Ekiti, aimed at boosting entrepreneurship training for students.

In addition, the university announced a partnership with Value Ingredients Ltd to supply essential food items such as garri and semo vita at subsidised rates, a move designed to ease the cost of living for both students and staff.

Reacting to the visit, the Director of Works, Prince Adeyinka Adebayo, expressed appreciation to the management and reaffirmed confidence in the institution’s steady growth.

“This visit is a strong motivation for us on the ground. It shows that the management is fully committed to quality delivery, and we are confident that Venite University will continue to grow in leaps and bounds,” he said.
