…..Party Faithful Rejoice as Adubiaro’s Birthday Triggers Grassroots Empowerment, Fuels Support for Oyebanji’s Second Term
In a display of grassroots appreciation, the political aides attached to the office of Secretary to the Ekiti State Government (SSG ) Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, on Wednesday, ignited her 60th birthday celebrations by distributing cash stipends to 130 dedicated members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 13 wards in Ado-Ekiti.
The initiative, attributed to the Prof. Adubiaro’s vast network of friends and associates, saw party faithful 10 per ward from all 13 wards receive the celebratory largesse, prioritizing direct empowerment over ceremonial fanfare.
Senior Special Assistant Special Duties to the Governor,Hon. Olufemi Aduloju Oja I, speaking for the distribution team, set the tone, declaring, “We believe that putting resources together to put a smile on the faces of our party members will speak more volume than an elaborate party.” He emphasized the gesture was a tangible “thank you” for the relentless efforts of the party’s rank and file.
The address also served as a platform to acknowledge key financiers and organizers who made the event possible.Hon.Aduloju extended gratitude to prominent figures including Prof. Cecilia Akintayo,Prof.Ogunbusola, Hon.Dele Owoju, Aare Khalif Adebiyi,and Prince Suyi Aladesanmi amongst others.
He also praised his political colleagues -Wasiu Owolewa,Hon.Aladeloye Oroya and Hon.Adebiyi Hazmat for their financial contribution and tireless efforts.
