There is palpable fear in Ondo state following the trending news that one Wale, the Son a popular farmer in Ondo state, Daisi Oluyi, an Akure indigene who was abducted at the Oluyi ‘s, Agula Farm camp, off Ogbese in Ondo state yesterday alongside with Wale’s friend whose name is yet unknown as at the time of filing this story.
According to news report, the abductors stormed Daisi Oluyi farms around 11:00 p.m on 11th March 2025 shooting sporadically into the air to scare residents.
The gunmen then gained entrance into the Oluyi’s compound and forcefully took the owner of the farm, Wale Oluyi, and his friend to an unknown destination.
Reports claimed that the incident has allegedly been reported to the nearest police station, at Ala Elofosan and the Police Area Command that has been no positive response from the Ondo state police command about the incident.
Even though the reason for the kidnapped is yet unknown, family members said the abductors are yet to get across to the family to make any demands.
This sad incident is coming at the heels of the release of the 9 land surveyors abducted at Oba Ile following the payment of ransom and the alleged herdsmen attack in the state which the Government of Ondo state has debunked as false and misleading.
