My Position on The proposed Ekiti Parapo War Film By Any Producer- Chief Ogunniyi
It is a welcome development to produce it at this time because it will enlighten students of History, historians and researchers to know how our forefathers defended their territory in those days.
The story line involves three states – Ekiti, Oyo and Osun states, others as stakeholders which must be involved in the casting of the film if it is to be acceptable to the stakeholders after the production for premiere show
If the film can be produced with love that is existing in Yoruba land now, it will showcase our cultural heritage and promote Yoruba’s tourism potentials to the world.
The Ekiti Parapo War film sponsors and producers should carry along the families of Fabunmi Okemesi, Faboro ldo, Fajembola llupeju, Oore Otun Okinbaloye, Ajero Olamiloye Oyinyosoye,
Aare Obadoke Latoosa and Ogedengbe Agbogungboro in Yoruba land and get vital information from the stakeholders
All the stakeholders must seat on roundtable to agree on the story line before the production begins or else there may be production of other versions.
Again, Nollywood actors and Theatre practitioners from Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Oyo states must act their roles to speak their dialects in the film so that the epic movie will be acceptable to viewers after the production
