The Federal lawmaker representing Ado/Irepodun-Ifelodun Federal Constituency at the Nigerian House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has praised Ekiti state Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji on the approval given to the state Cargo Airport by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA).
The lawmaker in a statement through his media unit in Ado-Ekiti, described this latest development as, “a good news that gladdens the heart”
Specifically, Fatoba pointed out that the completion and approval granted the cargo airport shows the beauty of continuity of governance as being witnessed under the present administration of Governor Oyebanji.
The House Committee chairman added that the commencement of flight operation at the airport will boost the economy of the state and provide job opportunities for the people.
“The approval by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority for the commencement of flight operation at Ekiti cargo airport is a cheering news for us and a welcome development.
“Let me on this note commend the state Governor, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for seeing to the completion of this laudable project started by his predecessor, His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi. This shows us the beauty of continuity of governance.
“I have no doubt that the commencement of flight operation at the airport will be of great benefit for the people of the state” Fatoba added.
