The 20th Akwaaba Intercontinental Travel Market (AITM) officially commenced today Sunday 21 September 2024 at the prestigious Eko Hotels & Suites in Victoria Island,. The landmark event has successfully attracted notable figures from the tourism sector, including former President of the Ghana Tourism Federation, Okonfo Nana Okatakyie Anim, as well as esteemed Alhaji Munsali Dantata. Delegates from over 40 countries and 20 diplomats are also in attendance, underscoring the event’s significance in promoting global tourism.

This year, Akwaaba continues its tradition as a premier platform for fostering collaboration among industry professionals, government officials, and travel enthusiasts. The market features various exhibitions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities designed to advance tourism development and innovation across Africa and beyond.
