Heritagenewsng reports that the Kwara State command of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command under the leadership of Commandant *Ayinla Iskil Makinde* commissioned a new divisional office today 20th August, 2021 in Oro Ago town, ifelodun Local Government Area of the State.
While commissioning the new edifice, Commanidant *Ayinla Iskil Makinde* stressed vehemently that the NSCDC amongst its mandate will step up efforts in intelligence gathering especially in the grassroots and border communities to combat rising insecurity in the country.
He further maintained that the expansion of the Corps to the grassroots level becomes imparative towards ensuring that lives and properties of Nigerians are well protected across the nation.
Futhermore, Commandant *Ayinla Iskil Makinde* lauded the effort of Oba Johnson Olanrewaju Dada and the community members for thier cooperation and un-relented effort in ensuring the completion of the magnificent building in a unique time.
In his remark, Oba Johnson Olanrewaju Dada expressed his sincere gratitude to the Commandant and his formidable management team for their outstanding support before, during and after the completion of the project.
He affirmed that he will continue to provide a conducive working environment for officers and men deployed to his kingdom to enable them discharge their duties appropriately.
*Commandant Ayinla* however implore the good people of Oro- Ago to give prompt and valuable information to the security agent in their community to nip crime in the bud. He however promised to deploy more personnel to the town for effective and efficient service delivery.
Finally, he charged officers and men of the new division to make good use of the office and infrastructure therein and also carry out their duty professionaly to justify the trust repose in NSCDC by the community.
