Saxophonist Sodeinde, appreciates Gov Oyebanji, Erelu Fayemi, Bakare, Others over her healthcare.

A 16 year old Saxophonist, Precious Sodeinde has showered encomium on the wife of the Former Governor of Ekiti State Erelu Bisi Fayemi whom God used to save her life when she totally lost her sight some years ago.
Miss Sodeinde equally appreciated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for taken up her case for continuous medicare.
She equally lauded Alhaji Dauda Lawal for his efforts at ensure that her case was attended to by the government.
She also appreciated Prof.Ojo Bakare, for discovering her talent and mentoring her up till today.
She specifically, appreciated Hon. Sola Fatoba, Comrade Sola Adigun, Mrs Oluwatoyin Abimbola, Dr Olutoye Ogunnorin her personal physician in Ibadan among others for the assistance and supports for her.
Miss Sodeinde made this revelation when she paid a courtesy visit to the office of Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre at the Governor’s office in Ado Ekiti.
While describing Erelu Bisi Fayemi as God sent to humanity especially in her case when she went totally blind and needed surgery inorder to regain her sight.
She said God used Professor Ojo Bakare, Honourable Commissioner for Art , Culture and Creative Economy to discover her and rebuilt her confidence.
She also had special words of appreciation for Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his wife for the continuous supports they have been rendering to her.
” When I got into that crisis because I went totally blind Alhaji Dauda Lawal was also running up and down so that my case can get the attention of the State state Government, it was a very tough time for me and my family, but with the concerned efforts of the aforementioned personalities God came through for her .
“I will also like to specifically appreciate my big mummy Mrs.Ope Adeyemo for her support and encouragement on my academics. i will surely make you proud mummy, I love you. May God continue to bless you perfect everything that concerns you.
” When I went blind, and was referred to UCH Ibadan from Abuad, it was my mom that took me everywhere and at a time I asked her if she was not ashamed taking a blind daughter with her every time and she responded that she is only proud to have me as her daughter.”
“This kind words from her mom she said gave her the strength to stay strong even when she was seeing nothing.
” But then Erelu Bisi Fayemi came to handle my case not forgetting the efforts of Prof. Ojo Bakare and Alhaji Dauda Lawal and others too many to be mentioning one after the other here.
“And to even say Governor Abayomi Oyebanji has continued the kind and humanitarian deeds is indeed a thing of joy for me” she concluded.
On how she learnt how to play the saxophone, Precious said she started playing at age 10 after her father Gbenga Sodeinde enrolled her in a music school after she took interest in playing the instrument.
She also dispel the rumours and the myth flying around that female gender should not play instruments like the saxophone because of goitre and because it’s a boys thing.
” I have had to encourage girls that playing the sax is not only a boy’s thing, girls can do it beautifully too and I am a living example”
Ambassador Wale Ojo Lanre who hosted the Teenager in his office was visibly moved to tears as the young lady narrated her ordeal, thanked God on her behalf and also praised her parents for not abandoning her when she needed them most.
He revealed that talents like Miss Precious Sodeinde is a valuable asset to the state which should be protected and invested as well.
Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre maintained that Precious will also be called upon to display her talents at shows and events in the state.
” This is what this Government is all about, kindness and favourable policies. Discovering of talents and helping them achieve their goals in life”.
He declares that the Government of Abayomi Oyebanji is ready to do more in areas of talent discovery to further project Ekiti State on the world map.
“We will continue to support Miss Sodeinde and many others like her”.
Thereafter, Precious Sodeinde played a number of anthems on her sax to the delight of the people seated.
Similarly, She also paid a courtesy visit to Mrs Mary Oso, the Director General Community Communications. The DG also thanked God for restoring her sight and was also encouraged to continue to showcase her talent as the sky is her beginning.
“On behalf of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, we appreciate you coming back to say thank you. I want to say congratulations on your current position of health and I wish you you continuous recovery.
“I therefore assure you of the Governor’s continuous support. The Governor will continue the good work that he has been doing to ensure that you stay healthy and putting smiles on faces of the people, particularly the downtrodden and the Vulnerables in Ekiti without relenting”. Mary oso assured.
