Ado Central: The Need For More Effective Governance

…And Why Olaleye is up to the task

Two years ago the immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi created 19 LCDAs to the already existing sixteen local governments in Ekiti state to pave way for more grassroot development.

Among the LCDAs created is Ado Central LCDA which comprises of four wards. Ado Central LCDA is one of the LCDAs that is well positioned and blessed with many opportunities to develop faster in terms of revenue generation.

What is very crucial to the development and progress of any society is the type of leadership in place. A society will witness more growth depending on the intellectual capability of who is in charge of affairs.

Ado Central LCDA is in dire need of more effective governance. Effective governance that goes beyond renovation of structures but focusses more on human capital development. Human capital we mean in this regard consist of knowledge, skills and health that people accumulate throughout their lives, enabling them to realize their potentials as productive member of the society.

In bringing about this human capital development, we need a person with the intellectual capability that can make it realizable.

It is in the light of this that we bring to you a man that we believe is capable to bring about human capital development in Ado Central LCDA. This is no other person than Hon. Olaleye Sunday.

Mr Olaleye, a vibrant youth in his forties is not a novice when it comes to administration at the grassroot level. He had once been appointed on two consecutive times to serve as Supervisory Councillor at Ado-Ekiti local government.

He is well acquainted with administration at the local level and has served his party of interest at various levels. A University graduate in business administration from the reputed University of Ado-Ekiti(UNAD) now Ekiti State University(EKSU).

A consistent loyal party man and grassroot mobilizer who shares in the vision and mission of the shared prosperity of Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji and
prepared to replicate it at the grassroot through human capital development if given the support.

The Chairmanship aspirant is in the race not for his selfish interest but for the general good of all.

On this note, we are calling on all the leaders, Excos in all the four wards that makes up Ado Central to please pinch their tent with Hon. Olaleye for more effective governance.
