NUJ Encourages Ekiti Lady, Damilola As She Is Set For World Record In Cooking Competition

As an Ekiti State born lady, Damilola Adeparusi is set for the new Guinness World Record, which is the longest cooking marathon by an individual, the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti Council has sent her words of encouragement.

Specifically, the Nigeria Union of journalists in the state felt proud of her, and encouraged her to remain focused and be determined as she embark on a 120-hour cooking marathon

Adeparusi who is currently cooking from, Ilupeju, Ekiti, Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State is set to break chef Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the secretary, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi advised her not to be distracted nor relent but focus on clinching on the medal.

Comrade Ojomoyela and Comrade Babatuyi affirmed that Adeparusi should be ready to prove to the world the spirit of hard work and resilience which Ekiti is known for.

The statement urges relevant bodies, individuals and government to rally round her at this critical time as she try to put Ekiti on world map
