A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress,APC, in Ekiti State, Hon. Sunday Adunmo has appreciated the peaceful atmosphere that characterised the just-concluded general elections in the State.
Adunmo, aka Galaxy, who was speaking to journalists at his country-home of Ilupeju-Ekiti, in Oye local government area of the State, said God had taken all the glory, believing that by His Grace, success had been recorded.

“My expectation is that our candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will emerge as the President. Also, our Senatorial candidate including House Of Representatives will come up in flying colours.” Comparing the incoming government if his party wins, he declared,” my dear brother, there are ex and there are ex. Jagaban is quite different. So, let us not lose hope there. There will be that renewed hope.” He has done it before in Lagos State. And that’s why Lagos State has continued to be the reference point.
He said unlike previous outings, there was nothing like vote buying, adding that mind is the master. “You may assume that there was vote buying somewhere, but to me, Nigerians are getting better. I know that a day will come that these things will be eradicated”.
On the cashless policy, Hon. Adunmo remarked that it has been too tough and rough. He noted that even now, there are things people should be assisted but with the policy, those willing to assist will not be able to do so. Stressing that it is a problem.
Assessing the performance of INEC and the Security Agencies, the Ekiti State Project Coordinator, Rural Access And Agricultural Marketing Projects,RAAMP, said it was so fantastic. I commended INEC some years back. Life is just a journey. We are looking up to a day where you can vote in the comfort of your bedroom. So, you don’t need to go anywhere. So, whatever you sow then, you will reap”.
